Atlanta Braves – Despite a slight dip in form, the Braves won eight straight games on the bounce beforehand. That’s an impressive record by any standards. They’ve picked up the scalps of the New York Mets and Miami Marlins for good measure. Can the Braves bring the World Series title back to SunTrust Park for the fourth time? We certainly wouldn’t rule them out.
Boston Red Sox – You can never rule out the current champions. The Sox have picked up nine World Series titles and ten East Division championships in the past and have been tipped by a lot of sports tipsters to win it again. They certainly have a knack for winning games. However, they’ll need to make some improvements if they want to retain their crown. We truly believe that they can make those adjustments and work their way into the mix.
Oakland Athletics – The A’s recent form has been a mixed bag. They swept the Yankees but also lost two games against the San Francisco Giants. Their performances over the next few months will give us a better indication of their chances. However, for now, we’re throwing their name in the hat.
