When your team is up 8-0 in the second inning, it’s great for playoff aspirations, but pretty low on drama. Thank goodness we had Eck and Remy in the NESN booth last night to reminisce about their visits to Studio 54, a notorious and world-famous NYC disco that was “the place to be” in the Bee Gees-era.

You can tell Eck and Remy are enjoying the hell out of this convo, and props to Dave O’Brien. The man takes a lot of heat, but here he just expertly coaxes the details out of Eck… leading to what I’m guessing is the first-ever mention of Andy Warhol (or as Eck calls him, “that albino dude”) during a Red Sox broadcast.
