Folks, that’s the look of a guy who is gonna will his team to win, even when he contributes nothing at the plate. So I’m gonna go ahead and ignore A.J. Pierzynski’s eighth-inning double that tied the game at 3-3 and Will Middlebrooks’ bases loaded single to give us the lead and just say that Pedey’s scowl meant victory tonight.

And while I hate to get so excited about this team finally reaching .500 again, it’s a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll. As Jonny Gomes might say, we’re one day closer to the parade.
