Many thanks to you both for providing one of the only bright spots of this season. Eyes are on 2013. And even in spite of it being a crappy year, I still enjoyed the 3 games I went to this year, one of them for the first time since we were kids with my brother. If I survived the early 80s (many bad years strung together) I can handle one bad season!

Anybody but the MFY’s. You guys do a great job with the blog. Many thanks for the laughs and the entertainment. As a Red Sox exile in greater Dallas, reading SG is a lot like calling home every day. (Hate to say it but I cruelly enjoyed watching the Rangers blow their division. I’ll still pull for them though … Adrian Beltre is still a beast.) Thank you Denton and Red!

GaryGeiger Flatsixes I’ll always bleed Red Sox, but I’ve really enjoyed watching the Nats over the last few years. I’m in Virginia, so they’re our “local” team, and I get up to their park quite a bit, and this year they’ve been the balm to soothe the pain. I hate the O’s for last year (and on general principles), but I would like to see them against the Nats in the Series because I want the Nats to feast on their crow. Plus, I also hate all of the other teams in the playoffs.
