VJ in Stuttgart English Sox Fan I did have a bit of chowdah, yes. A non-clam part, as I don’t like clam. Also visited some historic sites (Lexington and Concord), went to Rockport, went to see Mrs ESF’s old neighbourhood, the South End (including breakfast at Charlie’s), went up to the top of the Pru for some good views of the city, and went shooting with my father-in-law and his buddy the gun nut. Oh, and two Sox games, of course! All in all, a very satisfying first visit.

My last night in New England! Had a great time, with the highlight probably being at Fenway to see us beat the Yankees. (minor miracle in itself, considering). Will be sorry to leave, but looking forward to going home. (And coming back in a year or two!)
