Pats Tie Red Sox For Total Wins In September

Tito Francona was fired for going 9-20 in the month of September last year.. The 2012 Red Sox team is currently 1-7 this September. I’m no statistics expert but I think they are on pace for a worse September than last year. And looking at the schedule, it could be a lot worse. So…can we please fire Bobby Valentine???

An off-day today, and with two NFL games, who really cares? I honestly don’t even know what time the Sox played yesterday, I’m in full football mode. With the Red Sox settling comfortably into last place, is there any reason to watch this miserable season come to end? Now, fire the coach and I’ll see what these guys can do.

The baseball gods are just getting even with the owners for not having the foresight to hold on to Tito.  They thought last September was as bad as it would get.  Hah!   I'm ashamed of the owners for not being able to weather a storm, i'm ashamed of the players for not gelling as a team after last September and really wanting to WIN this year, and I think our entire coaching staff has to go.  How many of us would still have jobs if we woudn't talk to our boss, even if he is a putz and has no clue.  Lets clean house,  oh an get a new president- Larry is just as bad as Bobby V in his way.

Now that we've traded Gonzalez, can we bring Youk back as a first baseman player/manager. He might not be a strategic whiz, but when he comes out of the dugout to argue a call, the umps might actually back down.

@English Sox Fan Have a great time fella. I was in the area for the Cleveland games a couple of weekends ago but to my intense annoyance I didn't get to go, so I spent a day and a half fuming on Martha's Vineyard visiting my wife's sister instead of enjoying Fenway Park.

Nah, he'll make it through the season, otherwise the Boston press will never stop asking "what happened to Bobby will not be fired this season" ?  A new manager won't make a difference at this point.  And maybe not even next year.  We could be screwed for a while.  The call-ups have been awful and the pitching is a disaster.  What's gonna happen between now and next April to fix all of that.  We basically need a whole new team and coaching staff.
