The Red Sox lost again yesterday, dropping their second straight in this series with the Orioles. The odds are good that they will lose again today. Don’t act like you don’t know it.
If this is all part of some wizardly Bobby V plot to get Baltimore all knotted up with the Yankees atop the East before showing up in New York as everybody’s worst nightmare, then I say, well played, sir. Well played, indeed. And I tip my hat and monocle (which, admittedly, would be difficult to tip but you get me, right?)
On the other hand, if it’s just another example of this team sucking furiously at the teet of failure, then screw this and I’ll see you next spring.
