Will a Patriots Superbowl victory tonight finally erase the memory of that catch? Well, we’ll probably never see an opportunity for a perfect season again, but a win will certainly cement the legacy of the Brady-Belichick duo. Not only that, it will validate Boston as the City of Champions: Boston will have a title in every major sport since 2007.

I generally pick up the duty of handling any football-related posts, Red doesn’t really understand the game with the funny-shaped ball. So here’s how I see this going down. I don’t think it’s going to be a low-scoring game or a very close game. The Giants defense is overrated and Brady has the weapons to exploit that as long as the front line gives him time. On the other side of the ball, the Pats secondary is horrible and it will be up to the Patriots defensive line to put pressure on Eli and force him to do what he does best: make mistakes.

The only possible outcome is a shootout. Brady and the Patriots are better at protecting the ball and using the two-minute drill (which I think they will open the game with) and will end up winning by ten. And yes, I put my money where my mouth is, making a ton of small-money bets.
