My Favorite Scene in Moneyball

by Red on January 25, 2012

Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill were nominated for Oscars for their work in Moneyball, and if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s worth it. If for no other reason than the fact that a couple of scenes take place at Fenway.

But my favorite scene comes toward the end, where A’s GM Billy Beane, played by Pitt, physically and emotionally drained after his team gets knocked out of the ALDS by the Twins, watches some farm team footage with his assistant, played by Hill.

Pitt’s line at the end of the clip gets me every time.

LiveFyre isn't dead...it's just broken. Although we ARE revamping our site for the new season and investigating other options as well...

So happy to live gyre (iPhone auto correct lulz) gone! Thank you!

yeah thats a great scene, great line, and really good movie as a whole for those who haven't seen it.

Haven't seen it yet, but everyone tells me it's great.

New comment system? Livefyre bitten the dust?

One of my favorite scenes, too. I need to watch it again.
