Or, as it’s also known, the day Mike Timlin divides the gifts he’s received into two piles: “weapons I’m keeping” and “weapons I’m returning.”
From here, it’s all just a blur until spring training. Enjoy.
Did anyone see the Kennedy Center Honors on TV last night? They honored Neil Diamond and had a mini Green Monster with Sox fans for "Sweet Caroline"!
Also - the reason it is a blur has something to do with the need for excessive amounts of alcohol to survive January and February in New England.
For me, 2012 means I find another place to live. Hope we get a nice house (because hotel living with kids sucks).
here in Texas we call it the 'gun exchange' program.
I hope the lot of you are ready for 2012 cos I fucking am
Well, we all know how easy that is for him. If he already has it or if it is NOT an automatic weapon it goes on the 'weapons I'm returning' pile.
This is also Boxing day for our Northern friends, like Toronto (no, not she sport, you leave a gift in a box for your postman). Happy Boxing Day Jays fans!!
@poprocksncoke He's dead to me.
Hyped as a #1 or #2 starter he's seemed more like a #4 or #5. Maybe his new mgr with the cultural background can change his effectiveness. I'm pretty sure we can't have 5 #1 starters.
Anyone else on your "dead" list?
@Sharpie It says Okajima mate, not Matsuzaka. :D
*is actually hopeful that Valentine's Japanese experience can help sort Dice-K out*
