Says it all, really.
The air seems a little cleaner, my wife seems a little prettier and my kids seem even more well behaved this morning. Life is good.
2 "extra" pieces of news that have me feeling a bit more, ahem, turgid this fine day:
1 - The Sox swept this series even after moving Clay out of the series while Girardi skipped their #5 starter to get CC into it. How'd that work out for ya, Joe?
2 - The MFYs are either gonna have to fold up tents(not gonna happen) or trade off some of their prospects to fix the holes in their bullpen. A bullpen that becomes even a bit more important when you only have 1 dependable starter.
Gonna go take a shit now and name it ARod. See y'all tonight.
I went to bed after the third last night, and after an hour of tossing and turning, got back up in time to see the bottom of the 6th. After some mild debate about whether this was a smart idea or not (it was 12:30 A.M.), I was quickly vindicated by 7 runs, with the fatso being charged with 6 of them.
Hey, New York.
After dropping the first two games against the Red Sox this week, players arrived at the Stadium Thursday night to find a piece of paper on each of their chairs - one containing a message of togetherness and inspiration:
"A championship team is a group of individuals that has committed themselves to handle all the highs and lows throughout the season, knowing the ultimate goal of winning comes from each and every one and more importantly, together as a team."
*thinks what happened in last night's game says all you need to know about their team*
@English Sox Fan That gave me lady wood.
@English Sox Fan I love this shit, this shit makes me hard.
@Madraider I'm still amused by that comment I read somewhere the other night. "Canada needs to realise that America sees it as their fancy hat."
If Canada is our fancy hat, Mexico must be our dirty thong. @English Sox Fan
