"Oh, and Mariano Rivera can suck it. Thank you."

If you ever wanted the chance to approach Gentleman Bill Mueller and personally thank him for that game-winning home run in the infamous “Smell the Glove” game against the Yankees back in ’04, you’ll have your chance. This Saturday, Smilin’ Bill will be the special guest at the Jimmy Fund’s New Stars for Young Stars autograph session at Jillian’s.

Co-incidentally, if you also want to personally thank the pitcher who plunked A-Rod to set all those wonderful events in motion, Bronson Arroyo will be performing at that night’s Hot Stove Cool Music concert at the Paradise.

All this weekend is missing now is Curtis Leskanic working the Yankee Candle cart at the South Shore Plaza. And I’m not discounting that yet.
