Well, here we are at the last game of the season. And we can actually play a role in the Yankees’ ultimate fate; if we beat ’em and the Rays win, the Rays take the division. I’m all about the little victories at this stage, folks. The baby steps out the door and into winter.
And though I was hardly expecting John Lackey to go 19-7 in 2010, I would have liked to have seen something a little more huge-salary-justifying than 13-11. But I’ll take 14 wins from the embedded Angel.
