Interesting that we pour over stats to find all this hocus pocus stuff yet we can’t practice fundamental baseball such as what to do when fielding a bunt. I wonder if they do an analysis of how many outs/runs we cost ourselves because grown man who play baseball for a living have a panic attack every time another teams bunts?

I don’t get the cowbell thing, myself…in my experience they’re usually found at college football and minor league hockey games. I’ve never heard of them being used at MINOR league baseball parks, let alone anywhere in MLB.

I saw a Sox/Rays game at the Trop 4 years ago and I can still hear those cowbells ringing in my ears. Probably the second worst place I’ve ever seen a baseball game. Not too mention the overabundance of mullets I saw…and that was the women!

The Red Sox can’t get rid of Matsuzaka fast enough to suit me. Hopefully they move him over the winter. The guy pitches like he’s scared. A banged up lineup gives him 5 runs and it’s not good enough. Can’t wait until he and the useless Ramon Ramirez are gone.
