While NESN lawyers scurry to get a restraining order filed against Red, whose probation officer has apparently not updated him on the severity of stalking laws, let’s talk some baseball. After last night’s…whatever that was, it’s time for a little retribution. The bats were completely shut down last night, and if not for a gift of three unearned runs from the Indians, they would have been shut down the night before. Had that happened, we’d be depending on Jonny K to get us a split.
So I’m calling for some retribution (I’m looking at you, bats). I don’t want to see a 4-1 nice win, I want to see a smackdown. Something in the 10 to zip range, please. Because this is the Indians, a team one step above Baltimore and not worthy of our derision. So just win big and we’ll move on.
