I don’t know about you, but I get a good feeling whenever Timmy takes the hill. He’s like a walking piece of Red Sox history — a guy who was once part of a Boston rotation that included Roger Clemens, Vaughn Eshelman, Erik Hanson and Zane Smith — and one of the last really nice fellas in the game. Of course, that good feeling can evaporate pretty quickly once the guy gives up seven runs in the blink of an eye. But I believe Wakey will be one of the pleasant surprises of the 2010 team. His first shot toward that goal begins tonight against the Royals. Please join us, won’t you, in the Wonderful World of Wakefield.
