Remember this guy? Cowboy Up, the Karaoke Kid, Jack Daniels shots? He’s available.

The 38-year-old Millar hit .223 in 283 plate appearances with the Blue Jays last year. The former Red Sox first baseman may find a job soon as he is being scouted by the Texas Rangers, according to ESPN.com.

Not that there’s any room on the roster for him, and probably no interest in him from the Red Sox front office, but wouldn’t he be fun to have around? Couldn’t we bring him back as a bench coach, or a sidekick companion to Wally?

I think Millar’s interactions with guys like Pedroia and Papelbon would be worthy of a NESN show. It couldn’t be any worse than Sox Appeal, right?
