Next…

by Denton on February 10, 2009

Just a day after A-Rod admitted he is a liar AND a cheater, the spotlight shifts to Miguel Tejada. The Washington Post is reporting that Tejada is scheduled to appear before U.S. Disctrict Court in Washington tomorrow, charged with lying to congressional investigators. Any guesses on who gets named next?

Which Way Will He Go?

by Denton on February 9, 2009

There are only two choices for A-Rod regarding how he handles the steroid news. He can admit it, apologize, and move on or he can deny the rumor and say he’s clean. Based on the outcome of other players who have been caught, the choice seems pretty obvious. Jason Giambi and Andy Pettitte are examples [...]

The Man’s a Working Man

by Red on February 4, 2009

As if we needed any more reasons to love Jon Lester, the guy’s already made the scene in Fort Myers, more than a week before pitchers and catchers are required to show. “It’s kind of a routine now,” said Lester. “End of January comes, it’s time to start packing up and heading down. It’s something [...]

February Made Me Shiver

by Denton on February 3, 2009

It’s the shortest month of the year but it always seems like the longest. Even though we know baseball is just around the corner, a look out the window (yes, snowing here in Boston again) makes it feel very far away. And when the biggest news story is some clown ripping a sleeping woodchuck out [...]

Why is this man smiling? For the same reason you are, sugar. Pitchers and catchers report in just ten days.
