There’s no shame in having someone else do your dirty work. So I had no problem cheering on the Twins as they did what the Sox couldn’t do much of during their recent six games with the Rays — come up big in the ninth.
So now the lead in the East has been whittled to 1.5 games as we prepare for a weekend in Toronto. Is a sweep possible? Can we rally to take the division? And will Peter Gammons ever just break down and return my calls? Stay tuned.
