Last night’s rain-out gives us two games today–our originally-scheduled match at 3:35, and a bonus, Saturday night gig at 8:35. This enables us to literally drink all day and night while watching the Red Sox play the Milwaukee Brewers. Seriously, all today is missing is free cotton candy and the annual Bay State Hooker Parade to make it any better.
On top of all that, it’s the return of Mazel Tough, people! Come correct!
In other news, Sweet Amalie tells us in today’s Sox Notebook that traveling secretary Jack McCormick presented Eric Gagné with his 2007 World Series ring yesterday in the visiting clubhouse. Immediately afterward, we can only assume, he kicked Gagné square in the nuts.
