This is one of my favorite moments in a non-Red Sox World Series. I remember watching it in ’88 when Gibson comes hobbling up the ramp out of the clubhouse. Reminded me of Bill Buckner and things that could have been. Check out Kirk’s face after every swing: pain.
This clip is brilliant also because of the Debbie Gibson reference. Ahh, the 80′s.
