I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of all the Santana talk. Just tired. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t. Maybe Ellsbury is part of the package, maybe he isn’t. Have your people call my people when the deal is done. In the meantime, here’s a few suggestions to keep you busy.

Watch A Christmas Story. By far, the most entertaining Christmas movie out there. You can keep your Miracle on 34th Street, your Wonderful Life and your endless variations of A Christmas Carol. For me, it’s all about Ralphie Parker, the leg lamp (it’s a major award!), and the Red Ryder BB Gun.

Shop on eBay. Where else can you get an autographed Howard Cosell picture, a Three Stooges Silver Coin and a Jesus Puppet? This is legitimate one-stop Christmas shopping.

Go to a Celtics game. If you like the Sox, take in another local team. These guys are playing like the “big three” championship Celtics of the eighties. Larry Bird, Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale may not be walking through that door, but KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are.

Read Surviving Grady. The 2007 World Series was awesome, but can anything ever top 2004? Sorry, the shameless plug was inevitable.

Or you could just keep feverishly scanning the Internet for Santana updates. Your choice.
