With 2004 cult hero Mark Bellhorn back in town yesterday, taking on the PawSox with the Louisville Bats, I was reminded of his key role in one of the single strangest plays I’ve ever seen. Check the lunacy on display here: Damon’s throw intercepted by Manny, then relayed to Bellhorn who relays, far too late, to Tek. Classic.
Speaking of old friends, Gabe Kapler, AKA The Hebrew Hammer, AKA Mazel Tough! was the subject of a great piece in yesterday’s Boston Globe Magazine.
