Okay, so a couple weeks back, we reported on how some Orioles fans decided they’d had enough of us Sox fans descending upon their beloved Ripken Dream Theatre at Camden Yards. Now, according to today’s Cleveland Plain Dealer, C.C. Sabathia is also wondering how the f-ck so many Sox fans got into the Jake.

For the second straight night, Jacobs Field rocked to the cheers of thousands of Boston fans.

“It bothers me,” said Sabathia. “It’s a little embarrassing. There are such great fans in this city. I was here when we sold this place out. But when you hear cheers of ‘Youk, Youk, Youk’ when Youkilis comes to the plate, that’s not Cleveland.”

Having never experienced anything even remotely close to that at Fenway — even when the Yanks fans roll in with their caveman clubs and sacks full of meat sammiches, any vocal uprisings are quickly suppressed — I can only imagine how much it must suck. That said, I’ll be making my first-ever Trip To A Baseball Park That Isn’t Fenway next month when I go to see the Sox in Baltimore — part of a group of about 100 Bostonians; sorry, Os fans — and I must say I’m looking forward to being sneered at someplace besides my own neighborhood.
